Safety Signage

Ippon Fire Prevention supplies and fits a comprehensive range of Irish and European standard safety signs in rigid plastic and aluminium. When ordering your signage, there are a number of important points to bear in mind:

Size: signs should be sufficiently large and clear so they can be easily seen and understood.

Location: signs should be located in the normal field of vision, be prominent and take precedence over all other signs.

Height: they should be placed over doors and in open spaces and fixed to walls. In larger buildings, like factories and warehouses, luminescent signs should be used so they can be seen more easily.

As a rule of thumb, “signs must be used, where necessary, to help people identify escape routes and locate fire equipment”. Fire safety signage is required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and must comply with all provisions of the Act.

We provide maintenance inline with IS EN 671-1:2012 for fire fighting hose reels. We can supply hose reels that are fully compliant and can supply replacement parts such as nozzles, hoses, Etc.
